WhatsApp Business API
The WhatsApp Business API is the official way for businesses to send and receive WhatsApp messages through software, at scale, with automation, team inboxes and integrations. It is now delivered as the WhatsApp Business Platform and accessed through a provider, not downloaded like an app.
Unlike the free WhatsApp Business app, which runs on a single phone, the API runs in the cloud and connects to your systems. It powers automated notifications, one-time passwords, chatbots, broadcast campaigns and shared team inboxes.
You get access through a Business Solution Provider such as ZeniaOne, which handles the technical connection to Meta and gives you a dashboard on top, though a raw API is available for developers.
