Read Receipts (Blue Ticks)
Read receipts on WhatsApp are the two blue ticks that show a message has been read. One grey tick means sent, two grey ticks mean delivered, and two blue ticks mean read.
Blue ticks appear only when read receipts are on. In groups, ticks turn blue once every member has read the message.
For businesses, read status is reported through the platform so they can measure engagement.
