Green Tick (Verified Badge)
The green tick is Meta official verified badge shown next to a business name on WhatsApp, confirming it is the authentic business. It cannot be bought; Meta grants it to notable, authentic businesses on the WhatsApp Business Platform.
The badge builds trust, lifts reply rates and protects against impersonation. Meta looks mainly at notability and authenticity, so it can be harder for small businesses.
You apply for it through your provider after completing Meta Business Verification.
