Opt-Out

Opt-out is a customer choice to stop receiving WhatsApp messages from a business, usually by replying STOP or tapping an unsubscribe option. Businesses must honor opt-outs immediately to stay compliant and protect their quality rating.

A good platform detects opt-out keywords automatically and stops messaging that contact. Ignoring opt-outs leads to blocks and a lower quality rating.

Respecting opt-outs is both a policy requirement and good practice for long-term deliverability.
