What a broadcast is (and is not)
A broadcast is not a group. Each person receives your message privately and replies to you one to one, without seeing anyone else. It is the right tool for sending an update or offer to many customers at once.
Broadcast in the WhatsApp Business app

Do people know they got a broadcast?
Recipients see a normal one-to-one message and reply privately. They are not told it went to a list, and they do not see other recipients.
Why did my broadcast not deliver?
In the app, recipients must have saved your number. If they have not, they will not receive the broadcast. The WhatsApp Business Platform does not have this requirement for opted-in contacts.
